Hi Dennis, I checked Waul's Legion and found that the 2nd. Battalion of Texas infantry led by Lt. James Wrigley were under Col.Waul's direct command at Vicksburg. The 2nd. Texas infantry served in another brigade at the time in the same locale. These were 2 different units. Maybe James Lockley meant the 2nd. Battalion. Regards,Charles.
