Hi Dennis, I had no idea that Leonard Lockley lived in Sabinel,Tx. or what business he engaged in later in life. The Big Bend Sentinel article of his obituary on 06/12/1952 was an eye opener for me. My father never talked much about his older brother, or the rest of the family, and all I knew was that he was born in Texas in 1880,died in 1952 and had been a deputy sheriff under Grandpa James in Edwards Cty. I wonder if I still have relatives in Sabinel or vicinity? I will check it out. You are very helpful to me and I am indebted to you. Most of my Lockley uncles & aunts,etc. have passed away and the only one left is Node McMillan(cousin) of Rosanky,Tx. She is my aunt Nora's granddaughter,and she has given me most of what I know about the family. Like I said before,my father Joe was not much of a talker,not like me... I love to talk & communicate. Joe was kind of stoic. A wonderful man & great father who died of pneumonia in 1974,but a very quiet man. He,my mother and I moved east from Tx. when I was small and we lost contact to some point with much of the family. Regards,Charles.
