Charles, I just got a phone call from James Lockley of San Antonio, Texas who is the grandson of James L. Lockley! My first question to him was dumb as I was half asleep and I think I said I thought you were dead? He laughed and said no, not yet.

He tried to explain it to me and I think I understand. His father was Greene Lockley and the James Lockley that died in San Antonio in 1998 was the son of Norman. He said Joe was the youngest of the Lockley clan which appears to be your father. From what I can gather he is the last living male grandson of James L. Lockley and James is in his nineties.
