Dale....we are researching the Rich/Spicer connection in Humphrey Co., Tn. One of James and Charlotte Rich Spicer's daughters Margaret, married Hiram Johnson. Hiram and Margaret are my 3rd Great Grandparents. I have a cousin, Nathan Johnson, that has done DNA testing and he came back matching "RICH". The story passed down in his family is a Rich guy married a Johnson girl. He was a peddler in the mountains and was unfaithful....his wife left, took the children and gave them her maiden name of Johnson.....so Hiram's Dad was a RICH, and we have been trying to unravel this......looking at all connnections.
Any family info you have on James and Charlotte Rich(Reach) you are willing to share will be Greatly Appreciated.
