I came across the General Orders of the trial results for Dr. Aaron James.

It mentions another location "Palmyra"(Montgomery Co.,Tenn). In your research have you found any mention of "Captain " James'
activities at this location (or anywhere else)? I know there was a skirmish with guerrillas at Palmyra in early April 1863.

"bear arms against the United States, and did, assist, and abet the enemies of the United States in rebellion
