Alan, I agree with you on your assessment. I have just come off of what I call a research binge, papers everywhere and not filed as of yet. It might takes weeks to go through them and get the papers organized the way I want them. I believe there are some more soldiers listed as being with the 2nd Mississippi at Shiloh but can't confirm anything as of yet due to the unorganized mess. If I took time to read everything, I would never get anything done. It's copy as fast as you can and often and read later. In the meantime the piles of papers get higher.
