Hello, I have a letter written by an ancestor posted from Union City, Tennessee on January 14 1862. His name is William W. Frost, and he says to "Direct your Leter to Union City Second Miss Ridgement Company K care of Capt. Blaese (sp?). On the front of the letter, addressed to his (nephew?) Columbus Noland of Dyersburg, Tennessee it says "W.W. Frost army of Ten Thousand Secont Miss Ridgment Company __K". I have been trying to find out more about the 2nd Mississippi Regiment at Shiloh and the articles I have seen so far do not place the 2nd Mississippi at Shiloh. BUT I have a letter from a soldier who identified himself as being from the 2nd and being part of the Sixty Day Troops. Did you find out what regiment they are listed with at Shiloh since the Mississippi 2nd is not recorded? Thanks, Elizabeth
