If not for the discrepancy in ages, I'd be fairly certain that's him ! He's buried in the National Cemetery at Danvile, Virginia and his grave is marked. Do you think that could explain the army not allowing his body brought home ? I believe Jackson Blakely's remains are in the National Cemetery at Chattanooga but they have him mistakenly listed as a private from the 3rd Tennessee Infantry Co.H. Thanks much for your help !
