Hi Stan, thanks for your response. I have a lot of info on the 18th in general, and Capt Lemon in particular. I am currently publishing his post-war (1886) memoir that is vastly more detailed than his wartime diary. He very clearly used that wartime diary as a template on which to base his research, which included contacting and interviewing other veterans of the 18th and Hood's Brigade from Texas. It is spectacular...better even than "Company Aytch" if you can believe that...When I get it done, I'll let you know. Copies will be about $25-30 each, illustrated. By the way, I have his Confederate Medal of Honor, as well as the Federal NCO sword given to him by FirstSgt Lemon Kline, 215 Penn. Volunter Inf., a gaurd at Ft Delaware prison who befriended Capt Lemon based on a close friendship with some of the Captain's relations who lived in Penn. It hangs over my mantle today...Mark
