Ray for a great history of the sharpshooter battalions of the ANV.was that Dean Thomas' book Ready,Aim...Fire! that told of .577 and .58 minies found in relation to McLaws division? no offense to anyone, Thomas' works are well known, but how accurate is this one? was this info based in true archaeology or relic hunters? again, not trying to be offensive, just curious.
