Worsham, William W. -- Private - April 30, 1861. Admitted to General Hospital #9, at Richmond, Virginia, in 1863. Transferred to Chimborazo Hospital #2, at Richmond, Virginia May 4, 1863; to Lynchburg, Virginia May 7, 1863; to Company A, 3rd Battalion Georgia Sharpshooters June 8, 1863. Captured at Sailor's Creek, Virginia April 6, 1865. Released at Point Lookout, Maryland June 22, 1865.

Note* The 18th Ga. was formed at Camp McDonald(June 11th,1861) as the 1st Regiment Infantry,4th Brigade of Georgia Volunteers; enumuerated
as the 18th regiment for Confederate service(August 1861)
