Hi, Mark. Thank you for your post. As you may have read here, my GGF, Lemuel, and two great uncles, Alexander and Francis Boring, were all in Co. A of the 18th Ga. Lemuel died at Seven Pines, possibly of illness. He is buried in Richmond. Francis was wounded at Spotsylvania in May 0f 1864, and was captured at Roswell, Ga., while recuperating from his wound, in July. He spent the last year of the war at Camp Douglas. His pension application says the exposure there caused his rheumatism. Alex was captured at Cedar Creek October 10, 1864, while serving as 4th Sgt. He was at Point Lookout til June of 1865. They are both buried in Cobb County. Is there a copy of Capatain Lemon's diary available? I live in Smyrna. Stan
