To whom it may concern: I am Capt Lemon's direct descendant, Mark Lemon, of Acworth GA. I have read these very interesting posts, and one quesiton which has come up is concerning Capt Lemon's wife Eliza being 7 months pregnant in June of 1864. He indeed did have a furlough sometime in early November 63 I believe, just before rejoining his unit at Knoxville, at which place he was of course wounded and captured, remaining a POW for the remainder of the war. So doing the math, one sees that on this furlough, he and Eliza conceived their next child, who would have been 2 months from birth in June 64.
