In the 14th KVC... In Company M many if not most of the names appear to be Indian. A very few I recognize as Cherokee -- Capt Joseph G. Vann was Cherokee and there is a Thomas Spikebuck (probably Spybuck which is a Cherokee surname as in Downing). Tecumseh is a Shawnee name. I've been told (maybe by you) that many of the names are Delaware which is confirmed in the book you linked. Most on the roll are shown as being from the Creek Nation but I'm betting that is incorrect for most of them.
In Company G, there are a handful of names that are apparently phonetic spellings of Indian names and a few that appear to be Anglicized Indian names, e.g. "Chief, Joseph" is likely "Chief Joseph". Also some names that appear French which may be Osage surnames.
In Company D, I didn't see any of these phonetically spelled Indian names or names that look like 'Anglicized" names.
In the 15th KVC, there are a few names that might be Indian. Big Moccasin in co. E certainly, but just skimming down the roster there are names a like Charles Euchee (an alternate spelling of Yuchi or of the Cherokee name "Eucha" which is a shortened version of Ochelata) and Etwoyessay (spelled about five different ways) and surnames of Blackfeather, Greyfeather, and Greenfeather.
