In Response To: Battle of Boggy Depot ()

John W. Morris was a Professor of Geography at the University of Oklahoma. In 1977, he published a book entitled: "Ghost Towns of Oklahoma" printed by the University of Oklahoma Press and it is now available at Google Books. On page 32, Professor Morris wrote:

"No Civil War Battles were fought at Boggy Depot, but it was close enough to actual battle activities to have its people involved."
