I think I own the book but couldn't find it. My assumption is that the person in the photo is not a member of one of the IHG regiments. My best guess is still 14th KS Cav, co. M but could be another 'cavalry' regiment. I've never seen any documentation that suggests the IHG were every supplied/equipped like cavalry.

Now I HAVE to find the book to see the Zeke Proctor photo. I'm familiar with one where he is in his Union uniform. Is there another Zeke photo that is supposed to be in Confederate garb? I have a distant family connection to him. One of my gg uncles was his son-in-law.
