I've ask for more info on the photo, e.g. who has it, why they think it is a soldier in the IHG. The IHG was infantry, not cavalry, so they were not supplied with revolvers and sabers. The 14th KS Cavalry had a number of Native American and I suppose as cavalry would have had revolvers and sabers. However, those may also be photographer's props.
