Homer JonesCol MoreheadThu Dec 7 13:56:36 2000 Chris,I have scoured Barbour County and locatedat least 1,000 Confederate burials, markedand unmarked in the County but have notfound a site for Col Morehead; there is aremote possibility in the Confederate sectionat Fairview Cemetery in Eufaula; there areabout 45 graves there, about a half dozenhave names, but most have numbers which areprobably keyed to a record that has not beenfound; there was a Cofederate hospital thereduring the war, but very little is known ofit; the Pugh you spoke of was James L.
