Chris,

If there is a history of the 4th, I'm sure
Hayes could help there; as far as going to
Va, I see three options; first, by train from
Montgomery, second, mule/horse to Eufaula,
boat to Columbus, Ga and train from there,
or: and I kinda' doubt it, mule/horse all
the way and would not have gone by Eufaula
on the way.

I am still looking at the Confederate Cemetery
in Eufaula; there are 31 graves there, marked
by CSA and a number; if I can just find the
records, maybe something will turn up.
