"Pinkney" Mount did survive, paroled atGreensboro May 1, 1865; I find no trace ofhim following the war in either Pike Pensionor Cemetery Records; there was a ThomasMorehead mentioned in an 1889 issue of TheTroy Messenger as being a Pike Veteran; Icannot find anything about him at all; couldthere have been a family connection prior tothe war, or a coincidence?
