That students did not learn does not necessarily mean that information was not taught or at least assigned.

Oh so true. Having been married to a lady who taught public school for some 35 years, I am in total agreement. Private and parochial schools have a problem....kick 'em out....not so easy in public school, where you have to educate everyone. As for kids not learning the right thing, that sometimes translates into....they are not learning what I believe... I'm right and the whole world must be wrong....lol. But as this is the TN Civil War Message Board, the subject might be better discussed on the News and Views Board...Try a visit over there, I think you might like it.
