Hello. How would I learn more about Ross who went to war with William Stewart Herron of the 7th Tennessee Cav.?
According to oral history, then even after the war, they were connected.
Supposedly, Ross made two nice outside porch chairs as a wedding present.
Then he went to Arkansas with William Stewart Herron and his new wife.
Supposedly one of Herron's sons was named in honor of Ross with the child's name being Edward Ross Herron.
I picked up the last bit of information just within the last two weeks by visiting with one of the descendants.
