The Georgia in the Civil War Message Board

Re: A.J. KENNEDY, Capt. GA is not buried in N.Z.

I also have documentation that clearly shows that captain Kennedy, of the Georgia unit named by Gray, was actually imprisoned by Union authorities, and had his brother, a well known reverend, and mother, both living in America, write to the Union authorities for his freedom. He then went back to Scotland, where he was born.
As for the supposed "Australian" veteran, Robert Farmer, buried in Glynn County, Ms Hedrick had repeatedly tried to point out that he was definitely NOT the one buried there. Gray may not have forged the document himself, but it is very strange that the forgery emerged only after Gray contacted the employee at the Georgia Archives. Strange also, that Gray did not attempt to obtain the actual document from the National Archives, the main repository of such items. Was it because no one at the National Archives would take the trouble to forge the document?
As for an apology, I do not apologise to someone known to use our work and material without our permission. Gray was requested by Mrs. Virginia Crocker, from whose volume, CIVIL WAR VETERANS IN AUSTRALIA (crockers2@westnet.com.au) Gray was constantly obtaining the details of the veterans, to cease from using all our original research, but he just ignored her, and the rest of us, and went ahead, anyway, and used it, all without our permission. If anyone has any doubts about all of this, I would strongly urge them to contact the officers of the AMERICAN CIVIL WAR ROUND TABLE OF AUSTRALIA (Barry Crompton - BCrompton@bigpond.com), the AMERICAN CIVIL WAR ROUND TABLE OF QUEENSLAND (from which Gray was expelled for his many notorious activities- contact the president, John Duncan at jduncan308@gmail.com for confirmation), and even very well known authors and artists in the U.S., who can confirm all the activities of Gray.
Perhaps now everyone can understand why we refuse to share our hard work and research with the likes of Gray. He wants other researchers to provide him with their hard work, but refuses to do it himself, or pay for all documentation and photos.
