WESTPORT, Jan. 5. The body of a miner named Kennedy, aged about 60, was discovered in his hut at Old Diggings to-day. He had bled to death from an apparently, self-inflicted wound in the arm. Deceased was understood to have been an officer in the Confederate army during the American Civil War.
