His Battalion ranked with Monroe’s regiment among the Ark cavalry

While Price remained in camp at Cane Hill, Fagan with Cabell and Slemons' brigades and 500 of Shelby and 2 of Collins' guns moved on Fayetteville where Col Brooks informed us enemy were penned up…but no action taken
