Thanks for your guidance and I await any further info you may obtain on Fagan's escort during this closing period of Price's Raid into Missouri.

I examined Company B's (of Crawford's [1st/10th Arkansas Cavalry] Regiment) webpage (noted below) and found at least one trooper (Medlock) noted therein as serving in MG Fagan's personal escort in 1864.

I cannot imagine that MG Fagan would be riding alone for over 70 miles thru Indian Territory in late November 1864. Since others (MG S.B. Maxey) knew where Fagan was (30 miles NW of Ft. Towson) on the night of 11-19-64), Fagan must have had most if not all of his "escort" with him. The current available evidence indicates that it was composed of troopers from Company B of Crawford's Cavalry Regiment.
