I really appreciate your input! Don't know where you find all this stuff, but it's great! I went to the Texas State Archives online and they have a transcription of the results of Sarah Ann Tipton's pension application. No other information except that it was rejected. I left a message asking how I could get a copy of the application. It's funny, but it doesn't even show an application number. Sure hope I can get it. They are undergoing a huge renovation project and have been for months so I may not be able to get it anytime soon. Thank you so much for your help, Cathey
