Hi George, I found a listing in the marriage books for Roosevelt County NM, under P. S. Tipton and Sarah E. Escue. It states that they were married January 16, 1908, marriage record book A-1, page 283. All the information I've seen on Tipton say that he died in 1907. His tombstone reads P. S. Tipton, Died June 17, 1907, Weep not, he is at peace. Either the official record or the tombstone is wrong. :o( Cathey Cline
