The Tennessee in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Bradley County, Tennessee & the Civil War

Many Thanks, I'm learning the importance of the railroad and the fact the area changed hands several times. Henry may have been told elements of the Yankee 1st Tn.Cav. had been scouting & raiding in the area and knew his brother and nephew was with them. They had enlisted at Camp Garber Ky in March 62. The Rebel 61st Tn organized the following fall I believe so he may have figured they were with them. Many Thanks to everyone !!!!
