You might want to get ahold of Myra Inman's "A Diary of the Civil War in East Tennessee," edited by William R. Snell,
Mercer University Press, 2000.

Myra was a teen anger at the start of the war and wrote her diary throughout the war. Her mother ran a large hotel
in Cleveland, which hosted many travelers of whom she writes.

They were Southern sympathizers.

A good read
