I'm the genealogist in our family. I have the genealogy of this Matthew because I am descended from his first wife Jane. Someone mentioned White's Store, the owner of that website has in the past posted the pension records of this Matthew who lived in Desoto, Clarke County, MS after marrying Jane in Alabama. You can email me if you need anything more, but you'll not get much more of who his father was, or where he was from. We think he could possibly be related to a family in Alabama, but not sure.
