It doesn't say, and I don't know. That's all the newspaper article said about his appearance.

Andy Blunt was not in Anderson's band, but Quantrill's and perhaps George Todd's. Anderson's men went in for the red hunting shirts, the human scalps on their horses' bridles and all that. Todd's and Quantrill's men were not as uniform in appearance as Anderson's, according to what I have read. I flat don't know what Blunt wore. Sorry.
