Clay, that sounds great!
We possibly could do it to coinside with the Pleasant Hill reenactment in April.

If you would be interested, I have a photo of my great, great grandfather, Pvt. John Valentine that I could pass on to you. I have a photo taken before the war and one several years after the war. I also have photos of his grave, its location information, etc., if you would like it.

I also have a question for you or anyone else that might have this information. John Valentine entered Confederate service in 1862 in "Capt. John Kelso's company of heavy artillery in Avoyelles Parish," according to his pension application. We are thinking he possibly served in artillery at Ft. Derussy since it was in Avoyelles Parish, and at some point, Kelso's artillery became infantry. Can you possibly fill in the missing information on Kelso's artillery for us or anything you may haveon whenhis artillery became infantry?

Would sure appreciate any information you may have or anyone else!

Thanks
