Clay,
May I ask where you found this information? I don't have a lot of information about Daniel, I have received more information about him from this website than I have in all the time I have been researching. I will give you what I do know.
Daniel was born in Georgia (this cannot be confirmed) in 1826 and died in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi. His grave is located in the Bogue Chitto Cemetary.
He died on Dec. 8, 1900 in Bogue Chitto. He married Serena Quin in 1852 in Pike County, Mississippi. The Courthouse there so have not been able to get copy of their marriage. They lived in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana until at least 1880. They moved back to Miss. before 1900 but I don't know where they lived. They had three children, William Green Fulghum born 1853 Pike Co. Miss.,Nancy Fulghum born 1859 in Miss. and Mary Fulghum born 1869 in Louisiana.
Daniel is my gggrand father.
William is my ggrandfather, he married Ida Fenn in Pike Co., Miss.
Vertis Aletha Fulghum.Sasser is my grandmother
Willie Daniel Sasser was my Father
Margaret Ann Sasser Nethero, that's me
This may be more than you wanted to know and I don't have any photos of Daniel. I wish that I did. I have ordered his papers for the Consolidated Crescent Regiment and I have them for the Crescent Regiment already.
Margaret
