I was just wondering.... I know these posts occurred in 2010, but did you ever figure out where the Parade Grounds were located? I'm not familiar with that area at all, but I was thinking (dangerous, I know) that if the grounds were said to be North of town, why is most of the discussion here concentrating East and Southeast of town? There had to be a large number of men accommodated at the location.... Wherever it is. Thanks!
