If we decide that Mike's report is the end of the trail then we have a problem in that we must remove or fill in all military information on his CSA tombstone. We working on this end also. Old Man Clanton's boy was born in 1843 in Mo and died here in 1916 in Santa Rosa, CA. Just our luck there were two jw clanton's in TX Cav service. I will let all know our end results and actions.

Thanks for the inputs from all. After the war our JWC went to INYO County CA, and his father may have been there some also prior to his return to near Tombstone and the Clanton Ranch NW of that city on the Pecos River.
