The John W Clanton in the 12th Tex Cav(Parson's) is the same one listed in the 30th Tex Cav.
It is a descriptive list dated Sep 3, 1865, of Confederate soilders at Camp Bowie,Az. enroute to Ca. Shows Confederate service in Gen Gano's Brigade, Col Parsons Div.
From his court martial records he was sentenced to a Dishonorable Discharge, beside no pay for a year.
