This is what I am talking about. Dennis' original post seemed to suggest that there was some sort of Hoax involving the invitations sent to the Georgia Troops. That they ( the Invitations themselves) seemed to indicated that these men had been a participant in the Battle itself and that his research proved that they were not present in the Battle of Gettysburg. That thereby being the Hoax.

Or did I miss read the intent of that post?

With only 25 out of 1870 veterans attending being identified as a veterans of the Battle of Gettysburg, just because a veterans recieved an Invitation did not mean that they were actually at the Battle themselves.
