That's continually an argument of the revisionists and PC crowd. "If there were Black Confederates, where are the muster rolls ? Since there wasn't a 1st Confederate Colored Infantry or a 10th Confederate Cavalry African Descent, there weren't Black Confederates." Nonsense !!! At that other forum site, I've seen threads on Native Americans, Melungeons, Creoles, Irish, Asian, Jewish, Tejanos, Hispanic & Latino, in the Confederate Army. They even had a thread not long ago on the poet Walt Whitman's gay Confederate lover !!!! Mention anything about an African-American (free or slave) connected to the Confederate Army, and three fourths of them have an apoplectic fit !!!!
