Hi Mike, I'm still alive and kicking. The obituary you saw was for my dad, who passed away last year at the age of 87. He was a veteran of three wars, a true patriot and warrior, credited with a hit on the Japanese super-battleship Yamato, survivor of a kamikaze attack on his aircraft carrier, a member of the "greatest generation".

I'm still struggling with medical issues, which has pretty much curtailed travel and most other physical activities, but I'm still doing Civil War research and occasionally posting my research on the Civil War in Arkansas board.
