My grandfather was with the 82nd at Normandy, he was one of the lucky ones that made it out of the glider when it crashed.

My ancestor before him fought with the 26th VA during the War Between The States.

I talked to a old lady whose great grandmother lived outside Atlanta Georgia guess what year it was that her grandmother lived there?

1864

She told me what her grandmother had told her on many occasions.

"The danmed Yankees stole and burnt everything and even raped the colored girls"

But what does the Georgia "historical society" put on the side of the road?
