Ok, but if it is not explained, isn't it possible? What is the more likely scenario? From the messages I received it seemed the more likely was that he was at Spanish Fort and not Blakely, although both are guesses since the record does not say. Since there is the gap between the exchange from Ship Island and the parole at Meridian, I am looking for the most plausible scenario. From the details provided, it seemed most probable that he was at Spanish Fort, although I guess technically they did not surrender at SF, only left. Looking for the most plausible scenario since the records apparently do not confirm specifics. Thanks for your insight -- I really appreciate it.
