L C Lanphere
5th AL Cav. Enlistmnet Sites

This unit came mostly from northwest AL and enlisted at "Howells Store" and Union Springs. Can someone tell me the locations of these two sites. I can find most of the other enlistment sites ie Moulton, Hackleburg, Mountain Springs, Allens Factory etc on old maps. The Union Springs is not the one that exists today. I think!!!!!
