Right now I have transcribed all the enlistments from microfilm and they are being typed up. This list includes pertinent info ie where enlsited, where captured, buried, name of POW camp etc. Many of the names were not assigned to a company? I have names of officers and non coms down to Cpl. by company and I think I go thru Co I. I dont know how many there are but I would say up to 1000? The records I got from National Archives I think covers 5 companies? I have not tried to cross reference by census and would be interested in what you have & willing to share. There is a book on Marion Co that has some genealogy in it and Ill get that at the library today. Note the skirmish at Madison Station Al in 64. This is where my interest lies. Ill also get the Patterson info I read and note. Presently all my notes are in the hands of the local historian but I should have them back the first of the week. Ill see if I can e mail the officers to you.
