I have seen that you indicated you are working on a history of the 31st Virginia. Good to hear that. I have done similar research on the 31st for many years and have about 14 ancestors that were members of Co. K & H. I have published two geneaological articles in Hacker's Creek Pioneer Descendants (HCPD) entitled 1) The Mystery of Jacob S Bennett' and 2) Men in Gray, Confederate Soldiers of Central Virginia', both of which can be found via google.
