Thank you for the information (and by the way thank you for all you do to assist Civil War researchers and authors like myself). I am familiar (but have not yet found) Joseph Sniders book. My notes show that he was a Sergeant at Fredericksburg
and had been wounded at Gaine’s Mill (later hit in the head and killed at Winchester – 64). I am going to be in DC on Wednesday and will seek out the Snider book. Do you have any leads on either the Bosworth or the Hall diaries – I do not think Carlisle has them…. By the way both Bosworth and Hall appear on my Fredericksburg musters
