There were four designated "Georgia" hospital facilities active in Richmond during that time frame. All located fairly close to each other in the Eastern area of Richmond. If your ancestor was present and died in one of these facilities he most likely would have been buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Richmond. Unfortunately to date there is no published listing of the dead interred there. Winder Hospital on the western side of the City also treated some Georgia troops... if he died there he would likely to have been buried in Hollywood Cemetery. I checked the dead rosters there and didn't find him.
