I am not sure what you are looking for because your question is so broad. Are you looking for a specific person or focusing on a particular company or regiment? The way you have framed your questions you would have to look at every single Compiled Military Service Record (CMSR) of the thousands of soldiers that were there or attempt to locate unit reports after the battle if they exist. If you are looking for a specific soldier to answer these questions, then you just have to look at his CMSR to see what records did survive that showed his status at points in time during the war.
