The Missouri in the Civil War Message Board

Re: William Greenwood

Funny. I think I may have found Wm., Joseph, and Ed in my own family history. Not certain, but probable. This family moved back and forth between Lafayette and Johnson. The Warren ties into my family. I'm descended from Martin Warren of Warrensburg.

Daniel Greenwood, b. ca. 1802 KY
Marriage 1 Winnfred E. WARREN b: 19 Oct 1808 in Lincoln Co. Kentucky
Married: 21 Nov 1834 in KY
Note:
Jefferies, Joseph married Warren, Winifred E. on 04 Apr 1825 in Lincoln County, Kentucky
Greenwood, Daniel married Jeffries, Winefred, Marriage date : Nov 21, 1834
.
Children Of Daniel Greenwood and Winifred Warren:
1. Joseph W. GREENWOOD b: Abt 1833 (stepson-surname actually Jefferies) in Kentucky
2. William W. GREENWOOD b: Abt 1836 in Missouri
3. Elizabeth Susan GREENWOOD b: ABT 1839 in Missouri
4. Sarah C. GREENWOOD b: Abt 1840 in Missouri
5. George B. GREENWOOD b: Abt 1842 in Missouri
6. Daniel F. GREENWOOD b: Abt 1844 in Missouri
7. Edward L. GREENWOOD b: Abt 1846 in Missouri
8. John F. GREENWOOD b: ABT 1852 in Missouri

If this William W. is him, he was at home with his parents 1850 through 1880.

Thanks for the info from McCorkle. I'll check it out. I didn't think to check his book (and I have it transcribed on my site)
I would still like to find out where William died, to prove or disprove the Vernon County connection.
