I doubt Lone Grove was ever a "town" and imagine it consisted only of a country store and postoffice. The 1979 Morgan County History list of Post Offices shows Lone Grove from 28 Jul 1857 to 20 Aug 1863, postmaster John L. Young, so the postoffice at least had been closed before the cited robbery. Maybe Young sold the store to Wilson?
